Hey guys-
I was wondering...if I enroll in a community college calc class near my town to receive credit for Math 115...will this appear in my transcript? UM says all you need is a C or above to receive credit. Will this influence my G.P.A? Will the grade show up on the transcript or just the class? Thanks!

On your UM transcript it just shows the class, and the fact that you got credit for it. It doesn't show the grade or affect your GPA.

are you 100% positive?

...yeah

If you don't believe me, you can just as easily call up UM and ask.

Yes Finance, classes you take at other universities will not impact your GPA. How fair would it be if somebody took their toughest classes at a CC, got As in them and positively impacted their GPA?

And the grade you earn is not on your transcript as well?

Alexandre, I hope that was sarcasm? And are you sure that applies to all schools, including programs like PSEO?

That's right Finance. Your grade won't show on your Michigan transcript. You can, however, have the CC or the other university forward your transcript from their institution to whatever graduate school you apply to in the future.
