<p>I just got accepted. Transfer Student from Binghamton University. Going to be second semester sophomore in the Spring at UB!!!! Even though credit wise im a junior. I can't wait!!! Any other transfer decisions?</p>

<p>There is nothing wrong with Bing. Except the fact that I came in wanting to do Engineering. Found out quickly that wasn’t what i wanted to do. It is practically impossible to get into SOM at Binghamton. The only way in is if someone who is currently in the program drops out and their is a HUGE list of applicants many with 4.0’s. Between fall 2008/Spring 2009 there were 0 openings. And I am not sure how many there were between Spring 2009/Fall 2009 i knew i wanted to transfer. One of my suitemates actually transferred to Binghamton from Buffalo. He loved buffalo and liked it more than he does Bing. He was in SOM at both schools, the only reason he transfered was to be closer to home. So I guess the reason is I couldnt get into SOM at Binghamton, and i think Buffalo is the next best SUNY if not the same level as Binghamton and I can be in the SOM program there.</p>
<p>We’re in the same boat riend. I applied to both schools and I practically applied to Bing for the hell of it because I knew about the SOM issue as well. And I don’t want to be an economics major either. I cant wait to get to Buff bro. Have you visited yet? orientation date?</p>
