I've been lurking around the forums the past few weeks to find some answers about my appeal that I sent in and I checked today to find that I was accepted. I just wanted share what I've gathered into one spot for anyone interested.

First, I'm a transfer student from a community college, 3.2 GPA, Business-Econ major, with TAG/IGETC completed. I was rejected because I omitted information about a semester from a different college than I attend now. I sent the appeal 2 weeks ago and I received the answer today.

As far as I know from talking to their counselors, they started reviewing transfer appeals yesterday and they are definitely considering all appeals for admission (as I was just accepted today.) I'm almost certain that there is no waitlist for transfer applicants (I haven't met anyone yet who was a transfer and got stuck on a waitlist), so it would seem that if there's room, you'll be able to get in.

I don't know how much help this was for anyone, but after learning so much from all the threads around here, I'll try and answer any questions for people that are in the same situation.

Good luck to anyone who appealing!
