Transfer Appeal, Help very welcome!

Hey there, I need some help writing and this and with any advise possible. I'm meeting a UCSB rep tomorrow morning, I'm going to show her and see if she can help me

Heres my deal: I have a 3.56 currently. I'm applying for Business Economics with minor in Accounting. There was an error in my grades, so, I think /hope thats why I was rejected.
Thanks for all your help in advance

The appeal letter:

UCSB Appeal, 4/19/10, Ver 1.2,

To the Admission Review Community of University of California, Santa Barbara.
My name is xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx application number xxxxxxx and I am writing this appeal on the grounds of new information regarding my grades. When I received responses to UC's that I have worked really hard to be qualified for I was highly confused and disappointed. Upon checking my application for problems it appeared that the grades for the semester of Fall 2009 were missing, which I am sure I had filled during the application update period. My only guess to the cause is that it must have been something I did by accident while attempting to add an online class I took during Winter Intercession at Cal State Fullerton. Having no slots for winter admissions in the UC application, I attempted to change my fall grades to enter it there with a note, which may have reset all the current grades back to in progress. I apologize for the mistake and I assure you it was just that, I have worked very diligently these past two years to achieve the grades I received, and I truly didn’t mean to throw away my chances to a simple error. The missing grades are provided in my transcripts; hopefully this information is significant enough to demonstrate my qualifications for Santa Barbera's astute Business Economics program. I fully intended to gain my bachelor’s within four years and have already visited housing with my parents, I am extremely devastated with my current situation and would really like to have no discontinuities in my education. I will be achieving all the requirements for a Transfer Agreement Guarantee after this semester, and having completed all my pre-requisites and 60 transferable units, I will be unable to progress my main education. There’s nothing I want more than to receive my education and complete my Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbera within four years. I hope you take my plea and correct grade information into consideration, & I hope you will be forgiving about my entry mistake. Thank you greatly for your time, signed,

You spelled Santa “BARBARA” wrong several times, i dont mean to be nit picky just trying to help : )

It’s bizarre my computer always auto corrects it even when I change it back (its my sister’s name???(that have something to do with it?)). That and I meant to put “Course Work” instead of winter admissions. “Having no slots for winter course work”

I would also call admissions and explain your predicament. I was reading in another thread where another transfer applicant was denied because of a simple error on his application, but he called admissions and explained his problem. A couple days later the mistake was corrected, and he was admitted. Good luck to you, I too am a business economics transfer and am looking forward to attending UCSB next year. It would suck not to be able to attend because of an honest mistake.

so… what happened ? oh, and hasn’t Biz-econ switched to Econ+Accounting ? I know they changed it for freshmen, but maybe not transfers yet.
