transfer applicant to McGill fall 2011

I applied as a transfer student to McGill Arts for fall 2011 after finishing my first year at Ryerson University's school of Journalism and I am still waiting to hear the admission decision. How likely is it that I will be admitted?

They admit on an "exceptional" basis, meaning it depends on the number of high school students who decline their offers, which makes me worry that an acceptance is harder to come by than what their requirements state.

My GPA is a 3.6 out of 4.0. It would be a 3.73, however I have one B- that brought down my entire GPA (they will see that on the transcript).

When I applied, I indicated I am both a U.S. and Canadian citizen (living in Canada) which may affect admissions because they like admitting international students, but I'm not sure.

I also submitted my high school transcript with a 92% average hoping they would also look at that considering I have only done one year of post-secondary.

Please give me any input you can! Thanks!

I really don’t think you citizenship has anything to do with your admission . McGill has a lot of international students but it is because a lot of students from outside Canada want to go there. McGill is a really good university and it is well known ! So dont worry about not getting in because you are Canadian and us citizen ! Good luck
