I am looking to transfer to UMass Amherst, and the only question they ask for transfer students to answer is titled “Personal Statement” (Required) and says the following:
“Please provide us with additional information about yourself which you would like for the admissions committee to know when reviewing your application”
I can’t decide whether this is a paragraph question or an essay question. Although it is required, it sounds very much like an optional one.
