Thanks for your input! Looking forward to spring break eh?

If I had to guess, I’d say you’re definitely in at Stern and very likely in at Northwestern. You’re competitive for Chicago as well. Of course, Wharton is a crapshoot for anyone. You’re probably going to be up against kids who have internships at Goldman and what not.

Yeah, Wharton is practically random draw.

why were you at community college?

^I’m assuming to earn extra credits so he can graduate earlier, a great idea if you ask me.

Regardless, I think you have a very strong chance with every school listed, including Wharton. Heck, I’m discouraged considering I’m also applying to NU for econ with stats that don’t compare to yours :/

Correct. Also its MUCH CHEAPER, especially for general ed courses such as social sciences, languages, and history/government, etc. I pay $150 for a 3 hour course, transfer it to my state school, and hopefully transfer it to a private. I paid $150 for a $5000 course.

Wharton lol… Nobody expects to get in. Its a $100 lottery ticket pretty much. Apply to NU! They accept a lot of people (relatively)! Thats why I am ;)

You have good chances everywhere.

Ace how do you know NU accepts a lot of people? I know they accepted about 340 transfers in 2008 but I believe they accepted around 250 the following year, if I’m not mistaken. Does anyone know have the exact number?

I believe the acceptance rate floats around 15-20% varying on the year.
