Hi, I'm a Computer Science major from a 4-year in Florida. I'm in a bit of a bind since I got accepted to Northeastern with Maryland pending and they have enrollment deposit deadlines of May 1st and 15th, respectively. I've been told that I need to send my final transcript to receive a decision, but the earliest I can send that is on May 8th when grades are due. They are both great schools but I am stubborn: my first choice is Georgia Tech. Can anybody tell me if the wait and agony is worth it?

I have a cumulative of 3.39 and one withdrawal in Calc II (seems like a death sentence to me because of the non-holistic admissions). My current semester is turning out to be excellent. I might even finish with a neat 4.0 over 14 credits and a perfect A in Cal II (Much better prof this time around). In that case, I would have a 3.52 on my final transcript and a dean's list and president's list award. HS GPA was 2.93 unfortunately, but at least my record shows a great improvement (plus I'd be entering as a junior). I don't have any hooks at this college though: Asian (Indian), Male, fellow Southerner. I kind of like it though. Chugging on my own steam, I guess.

I'm assuming the reason why everyone says transferring to GIT is easy is b/c people drop out by the scores (milk-drinkers the lot of 'em! lol), but I'd rather not take big risks b/c I've got other offers waiting.
