I am worried about my college GPA. Do you guys think should I transfer UM as a sophomore or junior? What would be the best chance to get in? (If I transfer as a junior, then I think I can improve my college GPA until first semester of sophomore year.)

You get a chance boost if you're coming in as a Junior from what my admissions counselor told me. With the difficulty of the courses you're in though (and all packed into one semester) I can imagine the college GPA would be overlooked slightly.

I would say that you will more than likely get into Michigan. Emory is a well regarded school and a 3.3 will get you in. I read on a community college's website that with a 3.3 from there and a solid high school record you will have a good chance at Michigan. Also a friend got into MIchigan with a 3.4 from a school that is not nearly as hard as emory after his freshman year, so you have a good shot.

I personally think you have a good shot.
Because Emory is a reputable school, and your high school record is perfect (grade-wise)

Have you done anything in college? important activities? If so, and you can find a way to explain the 3.3 (not that it's bad, but 4.0 to 3.3, there could be a reason involved?), and that would be stellar.
