Transfer Chances- BC, Tufts, UVA, Brown??!

OKay so here goes:

Im currently an NYU student. I think my GPA will be a 3.8 for my first semester.

I am currently taking:
Philosophy
Art History
Composition
Intro to the Hospitality Industry (elective)

I have a 1350 SAT, 710 verbal, 640 math. (should i retake? yes/no?)

I'm involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, Pineapple SOciety (community service) and
I have an on campus job.

I would really like to go to a school in Boston but I am staying open minded.
Do I have a shot at:

-Boston College (i didn't get in the first time, i dont know how that affects my chances..probably negatively)
-UVA (in state)
-TUFTS (please god. please)
-I was just kidding about Brown. i really dont think i can get in, but who knows.
-Bowdoin?

I know im aiming high but I don't think my parents would want me at a school that is worse than NYU. I wanna major in History or Art History.

Any suggestions? Should i retake my SATs?

also, considering ive only been here for one semester i really dont know how my prof. recommendations are going to be stellar... do they take this into consideration?

OKAY EVERYONE thanks!! anything is appreciated!

i think u have a great chance to make into tufts if u get a 3.8 in NYU. And i also believe that u have a shot to make into brown, not kidding.

Bowdoin is hard to get into if you're a transfer student. I calculated it to be four percent! Yikes!

WOW. Bowdoin is that hard to transfer into??? All right. no big loss i guess since it's in the middle of no where.

But Tufts would be AMAZING and even a chance at Brown would be great. thanks for the feedback : )

Bowdoin is actually 30 minutes from Portland and 15 minutes from a major shopping center, Freeport. But, unlike Tufts, UVA, and Brown, Bowdoin is not in a major citiy.

do you by any chance...know what it takes to get into Brown?
it seems like such a toss up.
