I’m currently a freshman at a top business university here in my country. I did not apply to any college in the US after high school since I was happy where I was but due to recent personal circumstances I have entertained the idea of applying for a transfer as a junior so I have plenty of time before making a decision. My high school grades were good and by the time I apply I’ll probably get a 3.5 gpa, which is quite good considering the grading system at my university. I have not taken the SAT, nor do I intend to so I’ll be applying to universities like WUSTL and USC that do not require the scores. I won’t be applying for Financial Aid if that affects anything. What chances do I have of getting accepted in the two colleges I’ve mentioned. People in my university have transferred to the USA before so I know that it’s internationally recognized. I want to know how difficult it will be to transfer my credits. I’ve also heard that it may be difficult for transfer students to make friends and adjust to the new system etc. How true is this? Really need some insight into this.
