Transfer Chances for the Fall

Transferring from Michigan community college to LSA (Psychology) for Fall '17

I applied for fall 2016 and was rejected, but the rejection letter was pretty personal. Said my recent semester grades were impressive, however they prefer incoming juniors, and that if my interest in UM persists, to mail them with the additional courses I have taken and implied that they would most likely waive the application fee.

Most 4-year colleges to my knowledge accept jr standing transfers. Also, most 4 years do not accept work that was completed in the summer prior to transfer as part of your transfer application. Meaning, you have to reach jr standing by the end of your Spring Semester. According to UM website, junior standing is 55 units. To verify this, call the Admissions dept.
