I am currently a freshman in chemical engineering (which I absolutely abhor) at U of I in Champaign (which I'm also not too fond of) and am looking to change both my major and school. Thus far, I have been disappointed with both the lack of intellectual stimulation in the classroom and the intelligence of my peers, so I figured UofC would offer more of what I'm looking for on both of those fronts. Here are some of my stats, let me know if anything else could be of use:

My gpa for 1st semester will most likely be a 4.00, as it is currently
Prospective major at UofC (if that matters for admissions): English
HS GPA: 4.01/4.33 (4.33 is an A+)
SAT I: 750 R 780 M 690 W
SAT II: 770 Math II 720 Chem
HS ECs: Track, Golf, NHS, Mock Trial, Spanish Honors Society
Current Semester Classes: Accelerated Chem I, Accelerated Chem Lab I, University Physics: Mechanics, Calc II Honors, Asian Mythology, Engineering Orientation
I also have extensive college credit (much of which is in English) from Ohio University due to classes I took there while still in high school

Thanks in advance!
