Transfer chances-Junior

Hello all. I was originally going to try to transfer to NY schools because I have family that lived there. For personal reasons I have to stay in NC for my four years of undergrad. Anyway, I applied to UNC:CH in October and I just want to know what my actual chances are of being accepted. Here are my stats:

Highschool
2.95 gpa, did not submit SAT scores because they were, quite frankly, ****.

1st year - CC
3.8 gpa - 30 credits

Summer -
normal pre med extracurriculars. 70 hours hospital volunteering

2nd year- State University
4.0 gpa (fall semester) - 14 credits

I'm currently taking 14 credits and plan to receive a 3.8-4.0. I recently received a research position and I could have received an epic LOR from the PI but it's far too late for that (only been working for ~2 months and application deadline is March 1, unless someone knows if I can update after the deadline?). I made it very clear that my poor performance in highschool is inexcusable but I've been showing a large upward trend of improvement and that I can mostly definitely handle college material. I'm also an in state resident. Chance me!

^^^^^^^^^seafood,

(like that!). I think you have a super chance for admission based on how well you’ve done in your 2 years of college work and you’re an in-state resident! Yet, the only thing about this is: how many spots are open? In this economy? Good luck,

The ks.

anyone else?

I called admissions just a moment ago to ask if I could update my application and they told me to send an email with name date and class standing.

Worked in a neuroscience research lab 9hrs/week for 7 weeks now. Got invited to the Golden Key honors organization at my university and joined. Spent 6 hours (the amount is not what I think counts) putting Christmas trees up for families that recently lost their children to disease/illness. Joined a student organization.

Hopefully this will give me a little more chance. I feel that was what my application was really lacking when I applied in October. I also let them know that I toured that campus a few weekends ago and it was amazing. Beautiful campus.
