Hello! I'm a prospective transfer and I am just wondering how transferring a second time would look to boards, and what the chances would be. I previously attended university abroad, but was deeply dissatisfied with the program I was in and also faced some hardships as far as living in a different country and some family struggles, so I made the decision to transfer back to the United States. Unfortunately, the college I attend is not quite what I expected. It is a small, private school with a limited course catalog and unremarkable campus research. Anyway, I'm just wondering how transferring would look to an admissions committee (if I am transferring again) and what my chances would be.

I'm a female, pseudo-caucasian (self-identifying is such a hassle), both of my parents hold terminal degrees
GPA: 3.4 (current institution), 98 from former institution (my current school doesn't calculate this in, it is internationally ranked in top 50 I think)

I'm a Biochemistry major with significant research experience spanning back to high school. Some distinctions I have received include being offered a position through a university recruitment program for one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, pending publications, and previously held (paid) positions working in biotech firms. I also am the recipient of a significant amount of awards and scholarships through my institution ranging from minority and diversity scholarships, to awards from the board of trustees.

My high school grades were quite iffy, because I was not as deeply involved in all my classes as in the science courses, so I finished with about a 3.1 from a nationally ranked high school, with a 32 ACT, 2250 SAT, 750 Literature SAT II.

College Activities:
-Biological Honors Society
-Research Honors Society
-Teach middle and high school students over the Summer
-Mentor middle school girls and encourage them to join STEM
-Research at one of the country's top universities during Fall Semester (left due to health issues)
-Worked part-time at large biotech firm
-Various clubs (not really important)

I'm very nervous regarding my GPA, but the Northeastern Co-Op system is exactly up my researching alley.

Thank you in advance!
