Transfer Chances...sorry

<p>I am trying to transfer from Virginia Tech. I have only been through one semester, but I think I can do as well if not better the second semeter.
INSTATE
High School-Decent Grades, Bad SAT
SAT: 1260
SAt II: 700 on Bio Molecular
6 Ap Classes
3.8 GPA</p>

<p>College-Chemistry Major, Pre-Med
3.86 GPA</p>

<p>Fall:Chemistry w/Lab, Biology w/Lab, Freshman Seminar, Freshman English, Calculus w/Trig(placed out of normal calc)-15 credits</p>

<p>Spring: Chemistry, Biology, English, Calculus w/Trig II(2000 level), History class (3000 level)-18 credits</p>

<p>Applied for Honors for the spring semester
Applying to American Medical Students Association, Habitat for Humanity and Red Cross.</p>

<p>Chem and Bio for the spring semester have labs too...sorry...I hope I can get in...Anyone have an idea? Thank you very much for any help.</p>

<p>The Transfer Students website advises a minimum GPA of 3.5-3.6, so with your GPA, I think you have a very strong chance to be accepted. </p>

<p>If possible, can you get a recommendation from a professor at Va Tech?</p>

<p>Although it is not required for transfer applicants, the recommendation can only help your cause for admission.</p>
