Hey guys, I hate being "that guy" who registers and instantly posts, but I've been reading threads on this board for the last few days and couldn't find one similar to mine.

Here's my deal.

I've been at a CC since my sophomore year of high school (crazy mom, don't ask) which has been roughly 5 years now. I started out with a pathetic GPA, then got serious about college and worked my way from a 2.0 up to a 3.07 (where I stand after this semester.) My problem was that I took a ton of units my first couple years, so it's been harder to raise my GPA up quickly.

I met with a counselor over a year ago and was dead set on doing TAG to UCSD and he put me on this plan that would accomplish that goal perfectly. Problem was, his plan didn't work. It was based upon the assumption that I would take my final math class in the spring and transfer in the following fall. Unfortunately, he neglected to tell me that I have to have all my math/english classes done by this current Fall semester in order to qualify for TAG transfer in Fall of 2019.

Now I'm officially freaking out.

I hadn't visited any other campuses since UCSD is where I figured I was guaranteed to get in. Applications are due in 10 days and the only school I know anything about is UCSD.

I'm going to apply to UCSD as a regular transfer anyways (I live in San Diego), and in speaking with the counselor down at UCSD I was told that last year they accepted everyone down to a 3.0, but she didn't know how that was going to change this year, obviously.

I'm also applying to UCI and UCR (and UCB, but that's only to appease my crazy family, which has like 10 graduates from there going back to my great grandparents)

So basically, do I have a shot at any of these schools or am I royally screwed?

I was thinking that worst-case scenario I could do TAG for winter at UCSD, but alas that's gone too.

Ah!!!

Also, I have my IGETC sheet finished and my major GPA (political science) is a 3.8 (not sure if that matters)
