transfer chances

Hi i'm a junior at Drexel university. I actually just started attending Drexel this past fall and my cummulative GPA was 3.62. i used to go to CUNY Baruch College before that and my cum was a 2.9, but that was because i messed up my first ever term there with a 2.18, but i was pretty good there afterwards with GPAs of 3.1, 3.45, and another 3.1. If anyone could chance me, it would really be much appreciated. By the way i'm applying for next fall so just by years i would be considered a senior since it would be my fourth official year in college.

any reply would be much appreciated

I am a business major btw, sorry i forgot to mention that.

I know binghamton SOM is very competitive to get in. If you dont have a very high g.p.a, around a 3.5 or above( completely guessing on the g.p.a), then you should work on increasing it. Also, going and talking to Binghamton advisors would be helpful, or calling and asking about your situation. You might have a chance in Harpur, where you can major in Financial Economics, you are allowed to take Intro to finiance, as well as accounting at the school of Management, but the General Harpur College is easier to gain admissions. So if you apply, put harpur as your second choice college, incase you dont get into SOM ( school of management).

^ How can you put a second choice college? I didn’t find that anywhere on the SUNY App.
I chose Harpur rather than SOM (which I really do want to get into) because I thought it would be easier to get accepted to, but if I were given a choice to put down another school, I would have chose SOM.

Should I call the school to ask?

bing12 I’ve also heard that you need a 3.5 or above. I’m hoping they look at my more current grades because i have a 3.62 in Drexel.
