I'm appying as a transfer student to UNC for junior standing. I have a 2.8 HS gpa, and 1100 SAT. In college at LSU I've made 3.055 gpa with Dean's list one time. I'm hoping that I'm applying as a dramatic arts major it'll help. What are my chances?

Irish, you're in. Macgolfer, I will be surprised if you'd be admitted.

Can anybody rate my chances...I'm a freshman at Emory interested in transering and NOT a carolina resident.

HS GPA 3.65 uw, 4.3 w
SAT 1380 (740m,640v)
SAT II physics - 650, Matt 2c - 680
Would get AP credit for BC calc, physics c, english, psychology

@ Emory GPA 3.6

mrsolom, you have a very good shot at it.

what is the average transfer gpa anyways? I have heard several different numbers but 3.2 sounds the best to me.
