I posted here a while ago..

Here are my new stats.

Micro-Biology Major:

3.4 GPA
Treasurer of Asian Society
Science Society
I also work full time for a family related business.

I have a TAA with UCD for Microbiology.

I applied to UCSD, UCLA and UCB.

From what I see, I stand a pretty good chance for UCSD. UCLA and UCB are a little out of reach, but you never know. Comments?

I don't know about your shots at any of those places, but UCSD is a great school, especially for bio, plus it's in the most beautiful city in America. And it's right near the Salk Institute, so you could try to get a research position there over the summer if you're really into microbiology. If I were you, I'd rather go there than any other UC school.

Yea, they are really high ranked for a biology school. Last stats I read that were published by a small group, they found that UCSD ranked 3rd Nationwide in their MCB program.

Anyways here are the classes I finsihed

By this year I will have completed:

All UC minimum requirements
One quarter of Organic Chemistry (Looks competitive)
3 Quarters of Biology (All I need, it will be done)
3 Quarters of Calculus based Physics (All I need, looks competitive)
3 Quarters of Calculus (That's all I need)
3 Quarters of Chemistry (Done)
1 Quarter of Statistics
12 AP Credits
