If I were you I’d just finish enough credits for an AA degree at Valencia then transfer cause it will probably only take one semester.

@webman049, my classes would then have to transfer to Valencia, though, right?

And it would not guarantee the OOS tuition which is what I need if I even want to think about going to UCF, as I cannot afford the Out of state costs. If I do not get that waiver I pretty much go to Valencia for nothing. .___.

Sounds doable, but I would like more opinions on this method. :)

And just the tuition/room&board fees of Valencia might overwhelm me. I mean if I get the waiver for UCF, Valencia will be basically costing a lot more. With 9k tuition/year for OOS plus housing.

I understand it would be an investment for me to get into UCF, but once again, if I do not get the waiver for UCF then it pretty much is a wasted effort.

Why would you want OOS tuition thats even more money? If you get a waiver at ucf then maybe its better deal but Valencia it probably still cheaper. I went to a small state school to get my AA and it was only $107 a credit hour. That saved me alot and I got lots of scholarships so I even made money going to school.

@webman049 The thing is I do not want OOS tuition. The only possibility I can attend UCF is if I get the OOS waiver and that really isn’t certain. If I do go to Valencia to transfer to UCF, I’ll have to pay OOS tuition while at Valencia (since they do not have OOS Waivers). And even though it will maximize my chances to get into UCF, there is still a possibility I won’t get the waiver and will have to come back home, thus basically wasting at semester at Valencia.
