transfer chances

I know the application is in, there's nothing I can do, but now that it is in I have time to... worry. I wasn't sure which I liked better when I was applying, Georgetown, Barnard or Wellesley, but after having gotten in to Wellesley and visiting Barnard, I'm pretty sure Georgetown is where I want to be. so, beyond cliche, but what do you think my chances are at gtown? (for college of arts and sciences)
current school: University of Vermont, second semester freshman
GPA: 3.73
courseload: five courses first semester, two intermediate level, three intro, five courses this semester, two intermediate, one senior seminar, two intro
SATS: 2100 (740 cr, 730 writing and 630 math) 780 writing SAT 2, 720 lit and ugh, 620, US History, somehow
major: poli sci
ECs: Intern for Sen. Leahy twelve hours a week (only freshman or sophmore ever to intern, woot woot) co-president of college democrats, member of my school's STAND chapter. Did research for history prof at WUSTL over the summer, hostessed 20 hours/week, interned at the ACLU, taught theatre.
essays: major strength, i'm a good writer and i believe my essays captured how passionate i am about the school. my special skills and talents one was about speaking spanish, wrapping elegant presents, quoting Jackie O till I'm blue in the face, networking, running heels, speaking up even when i am afraid to and organizing dinner parties. my why gtown essay was framed by two early morning cab rides, one to the airport in burlington on friday morning and one to dulles on sunday morning and how i felt this peace on the sunday ride because i had found this school that felt so indelibly correct for me, how when i was there all weekend and people found out i was a c-span junkie they sort of gave me this knowing nod, how engaged students were with katrina relief, how fliers for lectures with ambassadors were up all over campus, etc. my career path essay was about crying on my living room floor as it rained outside when john kerry conceeded and knowing that i wanted to be campaign manager.
recs: i've read one, my prof called me one of the smartest people he's met in his 40 years of teaching at UVM and UPenn, my other two, one of the profs said i was intellectually in the top one percent of ppl he'd taught, and the other prof said i was 'wonderfully engaged'
high school: this is what i think might keep me out, 3.34 GPA from a top private prep school in St. Louis with an upward trend culminating in a 4.0 second semester senior year. i wrote an explanation, but i feel as though they might just think that one semester isn't enough time for me to prove myself.
i also think the fact that i didn't take math senior year might keep me out, i took two history classes instead.

any thoughts, assesments, anything i could say in a letter that i'm planning to send to them with a clip from my school's newspaper where i'm quoted as co-pres of college dems in an article about how we brough barack obama to speak at campus, that might help me get in? will gtown care if i tell them i will matriculate if offered admission?

ok, i'm off to do something constructive. like watch the daily show.

bump, por favor

I think you're in...supposedly the average GPA for transfers last year was a 3.73, so you're right up there, and with strong recs and essays, you obviously have a great shot. Just curious, did you go on an interview?

no i didn't! I want an interview so badly! Apparently there aren't many Georgetown alumni in Burlington, Vermont, which really doesn't surprise me that much.... Ahhh I just want to hear from GTown!
