Currently, I'm enrolled at UC Davis. I'm a freshman BioSci major, but when I transfer, I'll switch to Art History. This past quarter, my GPA was a low 3.0. Right now, I'm part of the Aggie Band-uh, but coming winter quarter, I plan to more involve myself. Is there any possibility for me to transfer to any of the following schools?

University of Chicago
New York University
Carnegie Mellon University
Williams
Brown

SAT I: 2070

SAT II:
Math 2C: 800
Biology M: 700

AP:
Art History: 4
Biology: 4
Calc BC: 3
Japanese: 3
US History: 3

Any other suggestions as to which schools I should be applying too?

I forgot to mention that I have volunteered at a Beijing orphanage and have attended the Tisch school of Arts Summer Filmmaker’s Workshop and have received 6 credits.
I have also attended a Red Cross Youth Leadership camp and was involved in a youth chapter of the Red Cross for 4 years. I also tutored junior high school students after school and volunteered at my local retirement center for 2 years.

I don’t really know if this helps any but I might as well put it in.

Your gpa is too low for those schools. I suggest waiting to transfer for fall of junior year so that you’ll have time to bring up your grades

thanks.
i had a think through and thats the same conclusion i came up with.

i was just wondering if my goals were too far of a reach.

Agree with the too low comment. For NYU CAS, where Art History is, you would aim for a minimum 3.5 GPA.
