Transfer checkmark

Just checked my application status on the UVA SIS, and I got the checkmark on my application status, meaning a decision has been made.

I'm not able to check what that decision is, though, because it says that "Admissions decisions are not available at this time. Please check back on May 1st, 2012" which is killing me.

Just wondering if this is a good sign as a transfer applicant or not, to get a decision this early, based on the experiences of past transfer students.

I really, really hope it is a good sign. This is my third time applying.

Thanks.

You might want want to check the UVa Transfer Blog, [Transferring to UVA](http://www.uvatransferadmission.blogspot.com/)

In an April 4th entry, the meaning of the green check mark was explained.

Good luck!

Even though you are a transfer applicant I’m going to refer you to Dean J’s blog post on this geared towards first year applicants because it explains it much better then I can. I strongly suspect that the same applies to you with the exception of the decision dates she mentions in her post.

The short answer is the checkmark does not indicate a decision has been made.

Ahhh, crossed posts with AVA55! :)

Thanks both - stumbled on that link when I found the transfer thread for UVA right after I posted this. Regardless, it’s appreciated.
