Before starting my common app, I had some questions that I’m hoping can answered.

First - Should I be recording my college extracurriculars in the “activities” section or high school ones or both? I feel like I want the schools to see how hard I worked in high school in addition to the things I have started to do in college… I worked hard enough in high school to get me into college in the first place!

Second - Is there such a thing as creating two common app accounts? I want to apply to an array of different kinds of schools which makes writing the common app essay difficult. For example I would want to write one saying I want to go to a smaller school and another saying I want to be in a more urban area (because the small schools may not necessarily be in urban areas the urban schools may not necessarily be small…).
*please no comments about how I should be figuring out what I want from a school haha - I’m just trying my best to appeal to the admissions offices through my app

  1. Do both, whatever you think represents you the best. Of course having some strong college extra curriculars wouldnt help.
  2. I believe you can change the common app 3 times so you can send different essays to sifferent colleges. But i do not think its possible for 2 create two different accounts.
