Now I am wondering why different advisors give different evaluation results.I have several questions:

For " Critical Thinking" class, one of my freinds got transferred as a DEC.G. course. But my advisor told me this course should be a DEC.B course.Which is correct?

For Calculus class, I have finished a two-semester sequence calculus class(CalculusI,II), which should be equivalent to SBU 3-semester calculus sequence(MAT 125-127, CalculusA,B,C) or 2-semester calculus sequence(MAT 131-132 Calculus I,II), but my advisor only transferred these two courses to MAT125&126. It means I need to take calculus C in SBU. I have checked my courses' syllabi and descriptions, which are very similar to SBU's Calculus I & II(131-132), so how can I appeal or can I take SBU math proficiency exam to exempt this course(calculus C)?

I am also wondering what criteria matter in tranfer credit evaluation. Just courses' names or other factors?

If I take a course's name is same as NCC or SCCC's course name(Assuming this course can be transferred), Is it guaranteed this course(s) can be transferred into SBU??
