Thought I would pass this along ---For incoming freshmen/students who have taken courses at other colleges - Add this to do to your check off list. Email copies of the class Syllabus to ensure appropriate credit.

From the FSU website.FSU Admissions | Credit | Transfer

Florida State University generally awards credit for classes (offered at a comparable level) taken at regionally-accredited community colleges, colleges and universities in the U.S. and from fully-recognized international institutions. After you are admitted to the University, the Office of Admissions Transfer Credit Evaluations staff will examine your transcripts in order to determine what credit will transfer to FSU to count toward your bachelor's degree. Students who enter FSU with an Associate in Arts degree from a Florida public community college will have sixty transferable hours.

Once the Office of Admissions has determined what credit hours will be counted toward your bachelor's degree, unofficial FSU transcripts will be mailed to you and to your academic advisor. At that point, the Undergraduate Studies department will perform a Liberal Studies evaluation to determine which classes fulfill specific FSU requirements. If you have junior and senior level coursework that you believe should count toward your major, you should contact your academic department.

If you have questions regarding credit evaluation, you may contact the Transfer Credit Evaluations staff at 850.644.5220.

For those of you instate, this is not necessary if your credits are from a Florida community college or state univeristy. In that case, you will just have a final transcript sent directly from the CC or U.

Thanks sunny for clarifying ! Yes we are from OOS. The Intro to Sociology was not an issue , but the College Math required review at academic department.

Instate, all community colleges and state U's use the same numbering system for classes. So College Algebra, for example is MAT 1105 anywhere. So for instate students, the college transcript is all that is needed.
