<p>How do we calculate our GPA for transfer? Is this GPA based on the number of credits we want to transfer over or is the GPA based on all classes taken (whether transferrble or not)?</p>

<p>Your transfer GPA is based on all classes taken, at every college attended. Once you are accepted and enroll at your new college, then your GPA starts fresh. The registrar will evaluate all previous transcripts to determine what’s transferable credit and you transfer the credit only (not the grade earned). If you ever apply for a grad program though, then your GPA at other schools attended will be taken into account once again (all schools combined GPA).</p>
