I just got accepted by the March program at University of Michigan. It is the best acceptance I got so far. I am not very happy about the results. Is it possible to transfer to another March program in the next three year? Which architecture grad schools take transfer students? What should I do to make sure I could get transferred to a better school?

Uncle, M.Arch acceptances are extremely competitive, especially the Ivy League programs. Remember this isn’t like undergraduate applications: you can always re-apply next year after devoting more time to your porfolio or gaining more work experience.

I don’t think transfers are all that common in M.Arch programs though we do know a student who transferred to MIT from RISD.

I answered your other post about Michigan. It’s a very good option.
