<p>I'm having some trouble with my personal statement for the common app. I will be transferring from community college to a four year university, with the intent to follow the pre-med track. The prompt itself asks for my reasons for transferring and what objectives I wish to achieve. I wanted to include some of my background story, since I have, over the past several years, really turned my life around, and for me there was a very definite turning point. I want to make sure I'm also addressing the prompt, however. 250-650 word limit, my count is 640. </p>
