I thought I would start the transfer thread for F17 applicants as we anxiously await our admissions decisions these next few months. I found the previous transfer threads to be very insightful. -2 recs that were able to explain how tragedy has impacted my scholastic and spiritual endeavors

-3.87 college GPA

-Tutored a kid in Elementary School who didn’t know any English and had recently moved from another country
-Recreational leader job at a Youth Activity Center while being a full time student

@peony13 Yes, I submitted in December! @ngangela I’m having the same issue. I contacted eCampus about it, but am still waiting for a response. I’m thinking maybe it means they are updating our portals…? Maybe wishful thinking!
@emorylove97 They do their transfer decisions on a rolling basis. I heard originally they try to get the decision a month after you apply. I assume right now transfer applicant volume is not as high as it will be in the coming months, so decisions are quicker. So it took about a month and half for me to find out!

I actually did not take the recommended math classes so I was quite surprised I still got in.
Recommendation letter from a SCU Alumni Professor.
I also sent in my HS transcript showing my400+ hours of community service but my gpa was very low.
