Transfer for Undergraduate Business – Best Acceptance Rates?

Hey Everyone!

I was wondering if you could recommend some top business schools that have less competitive transfer acceptance rates for business programs? I know some schools have relatively higher acceptance rates as a whole, but have extremely low transfer rates for their business schools (ex. NYU Overall - 25.4% NYU Stern - 2%). I’m still looking around for business schools and I’ve come down to the following list, but I need help narrowing down and I think the acceptance rates for business students is an important factor to have in mind? Let me know if I’m wrong.

University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), University of Chicago (Booth), Northwestern University (Kellogg), New York University (Stern), University of Southern California (Marshall), Cornell University (Dyson), UC Berkeley (Haas), University of Michigan (Ross), just to name a few.

Anything you’ve heard or seen, would be extremely helpful! Not just limited to the list above (I know it’s kinda reachy).

Thanks in advance.

UC Berkeley: Freshman acceptance rate from high school for 2018: 15%; transfers to Haas from community college: 5% overall; 14% for eligible cc applicants; 32% for UCB applicants (note Haas does not accept freshman and therefore UCB students apply during sophomore year for acceptance to Haas as a junior).

USC: Freshman acceptance rate from high school for 2018: 13%; overall transfers to USC: 24%. I don’t have a % for Marshall Business School transfers.

Also regarding above, note that the average transfer GPA for all majors for UC Berkeley and USC is 3.7+. Competitive and impacted majors like engineering and business might be higher. For example, for Haas cc transfers, the average GPA is 3.87. If you are around the average range, you should apply anyway. Good luck.

Gonna be hard to transfer to Kellogg or Booth since they don’t have undergraduate programs.
