title says it all...

umich ross im pretty sure. i think it has a 2% acceptance rate...not completely sure though

hmm.. MIT haha but why would anyone wanna go there ;)
NYU, UNC, USC, UCLA, UCB, etc...

What about schools like UW-Madison, UIUC, and UT-Austin?

"MIT haha but why would anyone wanna go there "

what!

for UT-McCombs the average gpa for acceptance was 3.7

Haas School of Business - Berkeley

Narcissa, I have heard very bad things about MIT from a friend who goes there, but I was just joking, that is the number one non ivy undergrad business school no question

"for UT-McCombs the average gpa for acceptance was 3.7"

It's actually closer to a low 3.8

Undergraduate Programs - The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin

Undergrad business?

UVA Undergrad business school is ranked 2nd best in the country and it's acceptance rate is low.

pretty darn difficult either way

UVA's transfer rate into undergrad bus. is around 15-25%.

UVa - Transfer Admission

Yes, but one needs to realize that it's about 33% for in-state transfer acceptances and about 15% for out-of-state. (They've been balancing the class at 2/3rds in-state and 1/3rd out of state lately).

Stern, Haas, Ross, Sloan.. probably hardest 4

Do schools like Virginia take High School record into consideration?

Well, Virginias b-school is 2 years, so no, they wouldn't take your high school record into consideration. But if you tried to get into a 4 year program after one year, then yes, they'd take your high school record into consideration.

what about the university of Illinois, is it tough to transfer to their business school, and do they take high school record into consideration?

I think UIUC Business School is the easiest to get in ... given that the average GPA of Transfer students for 2007 was 3.3

Ross is really hard to get into. I'd say that publics like UVA, Carolina, Berkeley, the hard part for OOS is just getting into those schools, and not necessarily getting into the schools. I guess you could say that about Ross as well in a way. Stern and Sloan are probably the toughest. I would go with Sloan because it is small and MIT is extremely selective. Why make this thread anyway? There are only two Ivy League schools with undergraduate business programs.

read the title

What are the toughest non-ivy business schools to transfer into?
(I would bold the "non-ivy" part of the last sentence but I don't know how)
