Can anyone list some top #25 business schools that are friendly towards junior year transfers from a different and less prestigious 4 year university?
I really like NYU and was considering Michigan. I was told that they both accept a handful of students each year.
It would be worth your while to consider some top 25 business oriented schools. I would suggest the 3 Bs as they are known in the New England area.
Babson, Bentley and Bryant University. All really fine schools and Babson being the business Ivy, especially in entrepreneurship.
Bryant is really on the move and recently started playing d1 sports including football. Lots of energy on a sprawling, lush campus and new facilities.
^ great schools, “Diamonds in the Rough” if you will. If you’re gunning for New England after graduation, these three place really well and have a strong alumni.
Bentley is actually getting pretty well known internationally. They have focused on that. So big draw in the northeast and internationally, less so nationally. But they do really well in that stretch from NYC to Boston. Tons of great companies in that market who are looking for “business ready” candidates.
Have a friend who heads up a CFO group. They meet a few times a yr and Bentley sends over lots of kids to work their conference, network, etc. She’s commented to me more than once that she finds the Bentley kids more impressive (in that setting) than the ones from better known / higher ranked schools. Just wrapped right I guess, better networkers, more down to earth, etc.
The Three Bs are for real!
