<p>I am currently a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania but am applying as a transfer to UVA. I have good high school stats, but I got a low GPA first semester (3.3), but am hoping to bring it up to a 3.5-3.6.</p>
<p>Will this affect my chances of being accepted as a transfer?</p>
<p>Also, how easy/hard is it socially as a transfer?</p>
