Transfer GPA between 3.5 and 3.75

Hello all,

Suppose that my Transfer GPA lies between the 3.5- 3.75 range at my local community college in Illinois. What are the chances of transferring into the following colleges solely based on GPA alone? I am finishing up my freshman year with the intent of transferring with an Associates in Engineering Science after my sophomore year.

it will depend on what you get on your key courses if you plan on transferring in with a major declared.
For instance I had a 3.5 gpa but I had A’s in all my core business classes [econ/finance major]
I was able to get into u mich and usc but I was probably on the fence (I’ve been told that you should aim to have at least a 3.7 for usc)
