I am a student at my fourth college, which is a community college. I intend to transfer to a university for a BS.

CC, FC, and PCC are community colleges; UCLA is, well, UCLA.

Year 0: 1 class at CC; 3 classes at FC (dual-enrolled as a high school senior). As and a B.
Year 1: 8 classes at UCLA. Low GPA.
Year 2: 4 classes at FC. Straight As.
(summer: move to Oregon)
Year 3: 1 class at PCC so far (getting an A in the class); registered for 4 more next term.

I have not transferred credits from UCLA to FC or to PCC. I do not intend to transfer credits from UCLA to my next university (tbh I didn't get any grade worth transferring).

If I continue getting As and maybe one or two Bs at PCC, my cumulative GPA will be about 3.3-3.4 (including UCLA) or 3.9 (excluding UCLA).

When I apply to a university, will UCLA necessarily affect the GPA on my application, even if the transfer of credit happens as if I never went to UCLA? Does anyone who has applied as a transfer applicant know what options I have for minimizing the consequences of my grades at UCLA?
