I am a current undergrad freshman and I want to transfer from my east coast private university to USC.

I am trying to fulfill the math, writing, language, and diversity areas. As well as areas I, II, III, and V from the transfer booklet.

I want to try to transfer after freshman year. So I will only have 2 semesters of credit if I take Chinese now (to fulfill language requirement of 3 semesters). I took IB A1 Chinese mandarin standard level in high school and received a 4 (I also have a bilingual IB diploma).
I read that if I don't fulfill 3 semesters I have to take a placement test, which I am fully okay with. Will I have to have at least 2 semesters of a foreign language from a college course?

I'm also concerned about my math class. I took math studies the lowest IB course for math. So to fulfill the USC requirement I'm currently taking a college math course equivalent to Algebra II (intermediate), will I have to take this for two semesters. Or is one semester acceptable?

Please help me out and give me some pointers. Thanks!
