Transfer Help

I was accepted in Mcintire as a transfer student and I will need to send my final transcript after the semester is over. I will have A's in all my classes but my online foreign language class, which is looking like a low B or C. Will I be able to transfer that C?

If I did learn one thing from this semester, it is to never take an online language class :(

Minimum Grades to Transfer Credit
Credit is allowed only for those courses in which a grade of C or better has been earned. Some programs may require a grade of B or better. Approval to take courses on a pass/fail basis must also be obtained prior to taking the courses. Courses in which “pass” or “credit” (CR) grades are received must be certified as equivalent to a grade of C or higher to be accepted.

It came from this link:
[Transfer Credit from Other Institutions | The Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences, U.Va.](http://college.artsandsciences.virginia.edu/transfer-credit)

Word of advice, Pete, it took me all of a minute to look this up and post it. If you are a McIntire student you best be able to do things like this on your own. ICE is a demanding program. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the response woosah!

And yes, I did read that section two or three times over before I posted, but I realized they were talking about the minimum transfer credit for the CAS school. As stated in the text, there are “some programs” that may require a B or better. I was not sure that if Mcintire was one of those programs.

I understand that Mcintire will be very taxing mentally, and I am prepared to take the next step. Post like these only motivate me even further.

If it’s accepted for A&S it is for McIntire.

Thanks for clearing this up.

Congrats on your acceptance, Pete. From one McIntire transfer to another you will get worked hard but you will get a great education and experience.
