transfer housing: odum village or granville towers

I got my housing assignment today: Odum Village. I had hoped to get a dorm, and one closer to classes, but I understand there's no room left. from a student perspective, which is better granville towers or odum? my assignment in odum is a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and bath to share with another girl for $2500 a semester. if i opted for granville, i'd share a double room and have a meal plan for $3400. odum seems really far away, but more space for the money. which is better for transfers?

personally I'd rather live in Granville than Odum. Nobody likes Odum and a lot of my friends who are rising sophmores who couldn't get housing for next semester opted to move in to Granville, odum was out of the question.

also granville is really right on campus, its right on Franklin street, i get my haircuts by granville and its an easy walk I make after a class.

isn't there a transfer floor in granville? Also, how did you find out your housing assignment? letter?

thats crazy that you got your assignment today! I called housing today and even though I turned mine in on April 24th I won't know until mid july... Who did you talk to to get this info?

paul, i got a housing assignment email monday. but you can also check on the housing page. i submitted my forms the same time you did, so with luck you should have your assignment soon.
