tell me my chances and other schools that is a match for transfer.. thanks guys

bump.. please help urgent thanks guys

So why are you trying to transfer? This is not just personal curiosity; your reason for transfer will be a major factor in how your application is viewed.

What is your major (if declared)

When you ask for suggestions on other transfer schools, what kind of schools are you looking for?

(you're talking about transfering for a semester after fall 2006, right?)

i am a bio major and i am transfering because i feel that a smaller school near chicago would be better for me... is that a bad reason

bump.. help guys come on..

college gpa: 3.3, this coupled with a very meiocore SAT (1310) isn't going to cut it bro

i am at cornell and am applying as well, i got into northwestern as a freshman, and i had a 1450 SAT and my cornell GPA is a 3.6

good luck

Eh, slipper had a 3.3, and he got in everywhere he applied. NW has a relatively high transfer admit rate (30-35%). However, bball's right in that it definitely won't be easy for you. I'm not sure your reasons will impress the adcoms that much, but that's just my opinion. Why NW? Given your reasons, U Chicago would fit just as well. There's other schools that also fit the desciption. Come up with a better reason.

are there any other suggestions
