I’m currently attending a community college and hope to transfer to UCLA or another UC college. My major is biology, however, I feel like I’m kind of behind since there are so many courses that I can’t take yet because they have prerequisites, so if I finish in 3 years can I still transfer and finish the other two years or is it just one year left? I really do’t know how this works… and I may have like 81 units by then, but I’m not sure.
Yes, you can transfer in three years and the amount of remaining years you’ll need at UCLA or the other UC will be determined by how many units you have accumulated at CC and how many you need in order to graduate. You should make an appointment with a counselor to help you plan that out.
