after we graduate high school can we just go to community college for one year and then transfer to UCLA? Cause i'm taking alot of AP's and other college courses and if i dont get in i think i might go to a CC. I think it would be a waste to stay there any longer because by the time i get there i will already have most of the requirements completed.

There is no time limit; you just have to have completed atleast 60 units. If you will complete this in a year, in addition to all your AP credits (assuming they will count), then yes, you can probablly transfer in a year.

I transferred in a year. It's doable.

can i also transfer in one semester? Cause i calculated that by the time i go into a community college(assuming i dont get into UCLA) i'll have 50+ college credits.

No. UCLA accepts for the fall quarter only.

sliguy,

on top of only being able to apply for fall quarter, you will also need to complete lower-division pre-reqs for your major. while you'll have lots of units, you'll still need to complete whatever specialized classes you need for your major, and that in itself usually takes 2 semesters.
