Transfer into A&S or CSOM?

Hi. I am a freshman at UVM and I major in finance. I finished my first semester with 3.87 GPA. I am expecting 3.8 - 3.9 GPA at the end of the first year. I scored 1960 on the SAT’s (580 cr 710 m 670 w). I decided to give it a try and apply for a transfer to cornell for either econ major in A&S or finance in CSOM. Can someone tell me what is the real difference in a transfer rate between CSOM and A&S (more specifically econ major)?. Thank you very much.

Internal transfers into CSOM are almost impossible. Transferring from other universities to CSOM isn’t easy but it can be done.
