Transfer into Oxford College

I am a senior in high school right now and I have finished my college applications. I applied to Emory, but was denied. I didn't realize it until after my Emory decision that I could have applied to both Emory and Oxford. I missed the email about it and just spaced. I also didn't realize that people who go to Oxford, after meeting the requirements, get to transfer into Emory. I plan on studying business. I have kid of decided on a school already for the Fall of 2014. I really do like the school that I chose, because it is smaller and has a beautiful campus with a great business school that is rising in the rankings, even though rankings aren't everything, but I am still worried about job prospects, even though the school has great career services. I am just the kind of person who freaks out over everything and cannot make a decision very easily. I have always wanted to try and get a great paying job, because my family is financially doing well. I also got a great fin aid package from the school I like, but think that Emory/Oxford might offer something better if I tried to transfer. I also cannot visit any schools because of my financial situation.

So, my main question is that if i start school at a different college/university, can I transfer to Oxford College at Emory or even just transfer to Emory University? What are the transfer acceptance rates for both? Transfer for Spring 2014? How hard is it to transfer? Should I even try to transfer? Also, is Oxford College at Emory/Emory University need blind for transfers?

I am just kind of lost in the whole college thing, because I love the school I chose, but am worked about prestige and job prospects and I can't visit anywhere so I won't be able to know if a school is a good fit for me or not. I might be over thinking everything, but that is just the kind of person that I am. So, if anyone can help me with this that would great. I can also post my stats if that helps to answer any of these questions.

Just as an FYI, the school that I plan on attending right now for the Fall of 2014 is the University of Richmond.

Oxford does not accept transfer students. Only Emory.

Then why is there a page for transfer students on the oxford college of emory website?

<a href=“Transfer Applicants | Emory University | Atlanta GA”>http://apply.emory.edu/apply/transferstudent.php</a></p>

Fwiw, I knew one student who transferred into Oxford but she had been admitted her senior year of high school and went into the school her second semester freshman year. She had to jump through considerable hoops to get in.

You can apply to transfer to Emory’s Atlanta campus (more specifically, Emory College of Arts and Sciences). The transfer acceptance rate is fairly high.

Oxford decided to no longer admit transfer students only about two years ago.
