Transfer opportunities

I just got admitted to NUS and Carnegie Mellon Qatar and I dont know where to go. I am hoping to transfer to a top US college (IVY's, MIT, etc). I just want to know which school I'll have better transfer opportunities in. I know NUS is affiliated and all with MIT, Yale and Duke, but Carnegie Mellon, being a US college, is obviously more recognized in the US. I really dont know where to go, so can someone please guide me......

come on guys, i really need some advice

Congrats they are both great schools! If you are looking to transfer to a top school it really has more to do with what you do at the school you go to… Obviously if you apply as a freshman to transfer your high school record will be heavily weighed (keep this in mind, althouh I’m sure yours is great)…

Go to the school that has the best reputation for your intended major. Which one do you think that is?

Provided you do equally well in both, I believe NUS gives you an edge to schools you have mentioned above.

@MJG678 my intended major is computer science and carnegie mellon has the edge in that. Im just afraid the qatar campus wont offer me the same resources as that of the US campus, whereas NUS (being a complete university), would offer me more access to research opportunities, international competitions, etc. Basically, things that would impress on my transfer application.

is it true that it is more difficult transferring from an international university like NUS, because of the incompatibility of the academic systems?
