Transfer or stay another year at community college?

Hey everyone, I need some advice.

I am supposed to be transferring to SJSU in the fall (school actually starts on Aug 21), but I’m planning on switching my major from psych to business (HR or international). I heard that I have to enroll at SJSU for one semester before I’m able to switch my major, which seems like a waste of time. I was debating if I should just continue going to my community college for one more year and doing my business classes there so that it’d be easier to get my classes and whatnot. I already completed my transfer requirements for psych at my cc, which means I did all of my general ed classes already, so I think I would only need to take strictly business classes.

Not sure which option would be more efficient, any advice? Thanks in advance!

“community college for one more year and doing my business classes there” You have to double check that those classes will actually fulfill your graduation requirement. At my University, I will have to retake all the business classes that I took at CC.

I don’t think that one semester sounds too bad. Odds are that you might have to take one or two classes that are not business related anyhow, in order to fulfill graduation requirements.
How many credits have you taken so far?
