So I’m going to hit the 80-unit mark soon, and I’m eligible to transfer to a UC. But my GPA is 3.1 and the highest UC I’m aiming for is Davis and my backup is Riverside. I need two more classes to graduate and get an AA.
I’m not involved with my community in anyway; I’ve had financial issues, family problems, and health issues to get involved in anything.
My opinion would be to stay, get a better g.p.a and try to join one club. And in your essay (I’ve heard this is most important) explain your reasoning’s for the lack of involvement.

Stay and increase your GPA. Try to get involved either in your community or on campus. It’ll increase your odds of getting into a UC.
