Hi,

I'm an international student at McGill University and I really want to transfer from here. My gpa in High school is not good(3.2) but that's because in my country you do not need to have gpa, it is not even considered to university admission. All that matters is entrance examination and in this one my results fall within the top 5%, in math in the top 1% of the country. At McGill my first semester was very affected by the change of countries. I never had been away from home so it was pretty hard. I got a 2.95 gpa. However in the second semester I got used to the Canadian system and I got A in all my courses. Now i have a 3.47 overall gpa. Do you guys have any suggestions of american universities that would accept my transfer application? My major is engineering. I have a C+ in the first semester physics but an A in the second and an A- and A in Calc 1 and 2 respectively, but a B- in linear algebra(terrible first semester). Thanks!
