Hi everybody!

I was wondering if it is easier to get into LSA winter term compared to fall term? I want to make sure my G.P.A is solid so I' am applying for winter term (GPA will be around 3.9). I know it takes more than a good GPA to get into UofM to. Also, I was just hired to work at the University Of Michigan Medical Hospital for the summer; will that help my chances of getting in for winter term? I am looking forward to becoming a wolverine next winter!!

Thanks for all your help!!!

There are a lot of important aspects of your application you didn't mention - the school you attend (pretty important), your major, difficulty of courseload/# of credits, reason for transferring, etc. Provide these and then maybe someone can better evaluate your chances.

School currently attend : Michigan State University
Major: Pre-medical (Human Nutrition is my real major because you can't get a degree in pre-med )
Course Load : General Chemistry , Organic Chemistry , Cal I , Psychology, Chem Lab I and II , WRA 150 Class, ISS 125 Class, Cal II .
Total Credits after freshmen year 29 credits
Summer Job : Working at University of Michigan Medical Hospital (registered employee)
First Semester GPA : 3.85
Note* - Missed three weeks of classes first semester after multiple surgeries
Reason for transferring : UofM was my first choice , but got deferred than later rejected .
High School GPA : 3.86 Total (All four years)
UofM GPA : 3.92
ACT: 25

ACT is well below average, but everything else looks great. I think you'll get in.
